Planned To Perfection reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in the Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice, and in its sole discretion.

If Planned To Perfection decides to change these Terms and Conditions, we will post a new version on this website and update the date set forth above. Any changes or modifications to these Terms and Conditions will be effective upon posting of the revisions. Your continued use of the site ,following posting of any changes or modifications, constitutes your acceptance of such changes or modifications and if you do not agree with these changes or modifications, you must immediately cancel all scheduled services with Planned To Perfection and cease using the site.

For this reason, you should frequently review these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable policies, including their dates, to understand the Terms and Conditions that apply to your use of the site and Planned To Perfection services.

 

Waiver for ALL Party Packages, Events and Activities

I (the “Client”), on behalf of myself, owners and the parent/legal guardian of the child, knowingly and freely assume all such risk, both known and unknown, including those that may arise out of the negligence of other participants; and, I, for myself and the parent/legal guardian of the child, and our respective heirs, assigns, administrators, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless, Planned To Perfection, their affiliates, owners, shareholders, officers, members, agents, employees, other participants, and sponsoring agencies, from and against any and all claims, injuries, liabilities or damages arising out of, or related to our participation, in any and all Planned To Perfection parties, events and/or activities.

1. I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of the Child(ren) named in the booking form or I have obtained permission from the parent/legal guardian of the Child(ren) named on the booking form to execute this agreement on their behalf.

2. I acknowledge and understand that there are known and unknown risks associated with participation in Planned To Perfection parties, events and activities, which include, but are not limited to: fractures, scrapes, cuts, bumps, allergic reaction, paralysis, or death.

3. I, for myself and the Child(ren) named, willingly assume the risks associated with participation and accept that there are also risks that may arise due to other children and adults at the Planned To Perfection party, event or activity which I also willingly assume. In addition, if I observe any hazard during our participation, I will bring it to the attention of the Planned To Perfection employee or official immediately.

4. I agree that the Child(ren) named, and I shall comply with all stated and customary terms, posted safety signs, rules, and verbal instructions as conditions for participation in any Planned to Perfection party, event or activity.

5. I, for myself, the Child(ren) named, our heirs, assigns, representatives, party guests, and next of kin agree that Planned To Perfection is not responsible or liable for any accidents or damages, staining of skin, clothing or hair, allergic reaction due to face paint, hair products or any other Planned To Perfection supplies.

6. I acknowledge and understand that Planned To Perfection does not intend to violate any copyright laws. I understand Planned To Perfection characters are not name brand, copyrighted characters. I acknowledge and understand that Planned To Perfection characters are based on Fairy-tale characters and do not represent any licensed character.

7. I agree that I will make best efforts to keep ambient noise levels low and to make distracting entertainment (including but not limited to bouncy castles) off-limits to children during the party/event.

8. I agree that there will be no costumed character entertainers from companies, other than those associated with Planned To Perfection at the party or event without prior written consent from Planned To Perfection.

9. I agree that any photographs or videos of the performer or any Planed To Perfection property, are for personal use only unless I receive written consent from Planned To Perfection. I will not sell or give videos or photographs to competitors.

10. I agree that I will not charge a fee of any kind to photograph, interact with, or attend the Planned To Perfection party, event, or performer unless I obtain written permission from Planned To Perfection.

11. I agree that I will abide by the Planned To Perfection time frame agreed within my booking or rescheduled booking. I will not disrupt a performer’s start time or delay a performer from leaving.  If I decide during the event to have the performer stay for an additional half-hour after the team have confirmed they are available, I will pay £100 for each additional 30 minutes and will be invoiced by Planned To Perfection at a later date.

12. I agree that I will supervise in the same room as the performer at all times and handle any disruptive guest’s behaviour.

13. I agree that I will be responsible for any damage to costume (including but not limited to wigs, shoes, gowns, and accessories) caused by guest, client or event attendees. I will avoid staining agents (including but not limited to foods and art supplies) before and during the performer’s time at the event.

14. I agree that I will notify Planned To Perfection of any unusual traffic situations that may impact performer’s travel time to the party or event. I understand and acknowledge that failing to mention traffic conditions may result in tardiness. I agree that I will not hold Planned To Perfection responsible for tardiness caused by traffic conditions or any other factors outside the control of Planned To Perfection.

15. I understand and acknowledge that Planned To Perfection reserves the right to change the performer for any reason, including but not limited to performer illness, traveling or timing conflict, or if performer is no longer working with Planned To Perfection.

16. I am not affiliated with a competitor of Planned To Perfection (including but not limited to owner, employee, or contractor of a competitor). I am not acting on behalf of a Planned To Perfection competitor and will not use the Planned To Perfection performance or correspondence to give any information, video, or photographs to a Planned To Perfection competitor.

17. I, for myself, the Child(ren) named, our heirs, assigns, representatives, party guests, and next of kin agree to hold harmless, release, waive and indemnify the owner of Planned To Perfection along with their, parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, officers, and employees from any and all injuries, liabilities or damages from participation.

18. I am of correct physical ability to participate and am legally competent to understand and complete this agreement. I hereby execute this agreement without coercion.

19. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Booking Policy

Your booking with Planned To Perfection will be confirmed once you have paid the stated deposit (confirmed on booking). If you decide to pay the full amount upfront, you will receive a 5% discount (this does not include our Christmas Elf Doorstep Visits or any ticketed events). Will will provide all information required for a bank transfer.

​

Once the deposit/full amount has been paid, you will receive a booking confirmation and invoice via e-mail.

​

No booking is secure without completion of our booking form and the payment of a deposit/full amount.

​

The balance will be required at least 1 week before the date of your party. 

​

Please note, your booking deposit is non-refundable.

​​

Cancellation policy

We ask you to let us know of any cancellations at least 5 days before your party. Failing to do so will unfortunately result in the full amount of the party being charged, with no option to re-book free of charge.

​

Should you need to change the date or time of your party or event at very short notice (less than 1 week) and we unable to fulfil the request, this will be counted as a cancellation and the full amount will be payable.

​

In the unfortunate event Planned To Perfection must cancel your party, we will endeavour to notify you as quickly as possible. You will be entitled to a rescheduled party date if the entire balance has already been paid. Unforeseen circumstances include bad weather (floods, snow etc.), public mourning days, changes of law, Government intervention etc.

The day of the party / event

Our entertainers will endeavour to arrive around 20 minutes before the party is due to commence.

 

We will require a parking space within close proximity to the party / event venue, in order to unload all the necessary equipment from our company car.. We will also require an electrical socket for our electrical equipment (E.G. speakers etc.)

​

Please ensure the party venue entrances/exits are clear to allow the party / event to run smoothly.

​

If you do know of any planned events or road works in your area which may affect us getting to your designated venue, please do let us know as soon as possible.

​

The use of make-up, face paint, hair products and temporary glitter tattoos

Planned To Perfection cannot be held responsible for any harm caused when using make-up, face paint, hair products or glitter tattoos during our parties / events. We source our make-up, face paints, hair products and temporary glitter tattoos from reputable and well-known brands.

 

It is the responsibility of the client to inform us of any known allergies, diseases, contagious illnesses etc, of each guest attending the party / event.

If at the start of the party / event any guests are suffering from any contagious/non-contagious skin conditions (E.G chicken pox, measles, eczema, cold sores, impetigo etc), it is the responsibility of the client who booked the party / event with Planned To Perfection to notify us immediately. 

​

The use of sweets, prizes and gifts

Our entertainers often supply sweets, prizes and / or gifts at our parties / events. It is the responsibility of the client to inform us of any known allergies, diseases, contagious illnesses etc, of each guest attending the party / event. If you do not wish for us to supply sweets, prizes and /o r gifts, please notify us beforehand so alternative arrangements can be established.

Safety

Your safety is paramount to Planned To Perfection and we will do our very best to keep every guest safe during the party. 

​

In the unlikely event of an accident / injury, Planned To Perfection cannot be held responsible. The client and other adults / supervisors must be present at all times during the party / event and are responsible for overseeing general supervision of all party / event guests. 

​

Please note, small items such as balloons / sweets etc, are not suitable for very young children and therefore supervision is required at all times.

​

Privacy policy

Planned To Perfection will not pass on any of your personal information or details to any 3rd party company unless advised to do so.

 

Any information you provide us with will be stored for our purpose only. Before booking with Planned To Perfection, we will require full details such as name, address, contact information (e-mail and telephone numbers) and other necessary sensitive data (such as allergies etc) in order for us to provide a safe party / event.

After your party, we would kindly ask you to complete a survey (and if possible a short review) about your overall experience with Planned To Perfection and the company's overall services.

 

Planned To Perfection may contact you in the future via e-mail/post, regarding any relevant and current special offers for our parties. However, if you do not wish to receive this type of communication, please do let us know.

Planned To Perfection complies with the UK data protection legislation.

Planned To Perfection is in no way associated, affiliated or connected with the Walt Disney Company or any other third party, company or partner. All our characters are based upon Fairy-tales and Folklore, such as those written by Hans Christian Anderson. Any resemblance between our characters and copyrighted characters is purely incidental. We do not wish to violate or infringe upon any copyright laws. Therefore, we can only accept bookings from customers who accept and understand this. Our costumes, characters, hairstyles and props are derived from our own imaginations and we DO NOT claim to be associated with any name branded or copyrighted character.

If you require a licensed, copyrighted character at your part y/ event, we encourage you to contact the company / copyright holders for your specific, desired character.

Mileage costs

There will be no additional costs for attending parties which are under 5 miles away from our HQ location (Torquay, Devon). However, if a party / event is over 5 miles away from us, we charge 40p per extra mile. This includes the journey to and from the party / event.

Privacy and Personal Data Policy 

Planned To Perfection ("PTP") privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website or via Facebook, Instagram or similar platforms. By submitting your information to PTP, you agree to the terms and conditions as detailed in this Privacy Policy document.

Any visitor to the Site may review the contents and information of all areas.

 

PTP collects data about individuals, usually within a business context. We only collect necessary personal data about you. This can include full name, address, email, phone number, your son(s) / daughter(s) full name and date of birth etc.

 

Information is collected about you when you request us to contact you or you complete our contact form/ live chat on our website or make an official booking.

PTP treats all data which identifies an individual as Personal Data.

 

PTP acts as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. This means we control what happens to the data in our possession.

You also have a right to know how long we store your personal data for. You can correct your personal data at any time.

This data will be shared only with the necessary individuals at PTP - all of whom are bound by duties of confidentiality - and in rare circumstances, we may need to share your personal data with our regulators and insurers on a confidential basis.

The retention and processing of your data is based, in part, on your consent (given when you accept our terms & conditions and withdrawn either in writing or verbally), in part on fulfilling our contractual obligations to you, in part to fulfil obligations to Government, our regulators and insurers, and in part protecting our own legitimate interests in connection with the running of our business. 

Your data will be deleted or erased by us when none of these bases apply or you give your data withdrawal request.

Website usage information is collected using cookies via our Internet Service provider., in order to (a) fulfil our contractual commitments to you and communicate with you, (b) maintain our own records to comply with our legal obligations and (c) protect our own legitimate interests.

 

PTP will from time to time take website usage information to assist us in the ongoing development of the site ad company. This will not include information that can be used to identify any individual.

 

Contacting PTP and / or completing booking forms deems acceptance that we may use your registered name and email address to inform you about other related services and products (e.g annual events etc).

 

All the personal data we hold is processed by us using secure online booking forms. Data provided via the online contact form is internal and not stored anywhere else and all submitted data is sent to us securely via email. Our online contact form is provided by 'Wix Forms'.

 

PTP may also send marketing emails or contact you with details of other products or services we think may be of interest to you. Following your consent to receive marketing emails, you have a right, at any time, to opt out from receiving our marketing emails. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes please advise us in writing or email.

 

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of your personal information held by us, please contact us via email. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. In submitting the online contact form (or completing the booking form), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms & Conditions of PTP and the terms of this Privacy Statement.

 

Cookies are text files recorded by your browser onto your computer for the websites you are visiting. They act as a memory, where sites can store information about your visit in order to use it when you open the next page. Every site can only set or read their own cookies and only when your browser allows it. Usually, browsers are set by default to allow cookies. When you visit our website, we do not currently collect statistics concerning your visit, so no data is held by us in log files.
